“NDT and Korzo join forces to stimulate the development of young creators. For this edition of Up & Coming Choreographers, talented makers Juliano Nunes, Ihsan Rustem, and Dimo Milev get a chance to make new creations. In a short time span of several weeks, the choreographers are challenged to work on a ballet entirely according to their own interpretation: from choreography to scenery, costumes and light. This is done under professional supervision and in the intimate setting of the Korzo theater in The Hague.”

On this occasion, I was assigned to photograph the rehearsals of the above-mentioned three choreographers and compose an exhibition on the theme “Extremes.” Based on insights provided from the choreographers, I combined their and mine artistic vision. The exhibition will be visible from 20th of June – 06th of July in Korzo Theater, The Hague.

I would like to especially thank Lucie de Haas, Anne Roth, Lotte Brouwer and Johanna Korgel for helping me organize this event together with NDT and Korzo production. I would also like to thank the amazing choreographers and NDT2 dancers for being such a great inspiration.
